Jason Kirschner has spent decades making television look good at places like The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, The View, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and The Sesame Street 50th Anniversary Special. A five-time Emmy-nominated, one-time Emmy-winning set designer, he decided that designing sets for famous people wasn't quite humbling enough, so he turned to illustrating books for children, who are even more demanding. The author and illustrator of Mr. Particular: The World's Choosiest Champion, he has since illustrated Sorry About The Bagel Burps, Matzah Day, and Challah Day — because carbs felt like the logical next step. His most recent gig was illustrating a picture book biography of his hero, Mel Brooks, entitled Blazing Humor! He lives with his family in Montclair, NJ, and can be found at jasonkirschner.com.
